Planning Board approves Bedford Road home, continues Civico hearing to June 9
LINCOLN — May 26, 2026 — Lincoln Planning Board approves Bedford Road teardown-and-rebuild, opens Civico's 20-unit Page Road hearing. The board on May 26 voted 4-1 to grant site plan review for Srinivas Anantha's 6,295-square-foot home at 127 Bedford Road, conditional on Zoning Board of Appeals and Historical Commission approvals; Co-Chair Lynn DeLisi dissented, citing a "massive structure on this narrow lot." The board then opened the definitive plan hearing for Civico Development's 20-unit Page Road project, approved in preliminary form at June 2025 Special Town Meeting. Kimley-Horn projected 428 average weekday trips and 19 to 22 peak-hour trips; IMEG peer reviewer Rebecca Goldberg called the daily figure inflated by the ITE model at low unit counts and pegged a realistic estimate at 180 to 200. Stormwater reviewer Scott Murphy flagged roughly five issues including missing test pits in the porous-pavement area. Abutter Klaus Schroeder filed 19 proposed conditions and asked the board not to vote until Conservation Commission, septic and stormwater gaps are closed. The board voted unanimously to recommend Jonathan Soo as Associate Member and named Co-Chair Gary Taylor primary signatory. Planning Director Paula Vaughn-McKenzie reported the Flint Building units push the town over 13 percent on the Subsidized Housing Inventory.
